Recital Information 2025-2026
What is Recital?
Also known as our Spring Production, the recital is our biggest performance of the year! It showcases all the hard work, progress, and passion our dancers have put in throughout the season. Each class performs a choreographed routine as part of a full-scale show built around an exciting theme.
When and where is the recital?
The recital will be held at the Central Park Performing Arts Center, located at 105 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL 33771.
There will be two performances: an evening show on Saturday, May 23rd and a matinee on Sunday, May 24th (times TBD).
Dancers are required to be available for both shows.
When is the registration deadline?
Early Bird registration is by December 15th, 2025.
General Registration deadline is February 14th, 2026. Due to costume shipment delays, recital registration is officially closed at this time.
Is recital participation required?
Participation in the recital is not required, but we highly encourage it! It’s a wonderful opportunity for dancers to showcase what they’ve learned, build confidence, and create lasting memories with their classmates. It’s a celebration of their hard work and growth throughout the year!
Can I still take dance class if I can't do the Recital?
Absolutely! Learning a dance routine is part of our regular curriculum at STEPS and classes will be learning dance routines all year round. Many routines are not performed at the end of the year recital; however, they are used as a teaching tool to work on a dancers group synchronization, memory, and performance skills. Students that are not performing will still learn the dance routine as part of their curriculum.
Do all classes participate?
There are a few classes that do not participate in recital:
PBT
All technique/conditioning classes
9-10am combo ages 2-3
Leaps and Turns
Beg Pointe
